Altara was formed in early 2005 by a group of airline executives in order to address the growing need for quality services to the aviation industry.

Altara commenced as an organisation that specialised in assisting investors with the formation and implementation of new aviation related businesses. Since then Altara has expanded to provide a broad range of additional services to the global aviation and wider business sectors including an extensive aviation recruitment, employment and people management division now employing in excess of 600 personnel.

The management of Altara have all held senior level positions at many of the world’s foremost legacy, low cost, and regional airlines as well as regulatory authorities, franchise organisations, health care and a variety of other business sectors.

Since its inception, Altara has grown rapidly, employing personnel both in Australia and internationally. Our expansion is continuing with additional products being developed in the areas of resources including recruitment, placement and labour hire, training, consulting, auditing and support services.
